History:
A very
wealthy person, rumour has it that she was the illegitimate daughter of
King Alfonso XII, built the house as a residence on a large estate. However,
she died without heirs and left the house to a family originally from the
region. They owned and occupied it until the 1950´s. Later the estate
and the house were sold separately, and as the latter fell into disuse
the village used two rooms as a small chapel. Subsequently, a local person
from Aracena realized it had potential as a hotel and proceeded to make
it what it is today: a charming personal hotel. He also added a small garden
and a pool. |
