Casa Rural Las Chimeneas is an old village house which has been restored sympathetically in the local style with three en-suite bedrooms.

We also have two one bedroom studio / apartments with kitchen / living room with wood burning stove, bathroom, bedroom and terrace. In addition there is a cottage for rent with two en-suite bathrooms, large terrace and spacious living room / kitchen area with wood burning stove.

All the properties are situated right at the edge of the village of Mairena known as the Balcony of the Alpujarras and have stunning views over the olive terraces to the Mediterranean beyond.

Dinner is served next to a log fire in winter and on the terrace next to the dip pool in summer.

Activities:

We work as a walking centre and have a wide range of local walks together with detailed notes and maps for the use of guests. Routes range from gentle strolls to climbing the peaks of the sierra. We can also organise horse riding, huskie sled riding, mountain biking. Granada and the Alhambra, the troglodyte town of Guadix and the unspoilt protected coast of Cabo de Gata are all within easy reach.

Self Guided Trekking Holiday:
Per week full board at Las Chimeneas, half board at hotels en-route.

Per week, per person (includes buffet breakfast, light lunch or picnic, 3 course evening meal).

Deposit : 1 day bookings no deposit - just a VISA card number
1 week - 25% paid into UK bank account

Cancellation: Loss of deposit if cancellation less than a month before arrival.
